Chiromo Environmental Awareness Club (CEAC) has appointed new officials who will be in office from November 2019 - November 2020. The former chairman, Mr. Wilfred Chemoiwo Kiptoo officially handed over to Ms. Wangari Kigundu who now holds the Chairperson's office.
During her term, Ms. Kigundu hopes to achieve 9 key things: adopt a river initiative in partnership with the Rotaract Club, University of Nairobi (UoN) chapter and Stand Up and Speak Out Club Parklands Chapter, organize a Corporate Social Responsibility event, rehabilitate the club's tree nursery, organise tree planting activities and establish a bamboo propagation project, clean-up Clabu (a common student eating place), establish two Coca-Cola plastic collection points within Chiromo campus in partnership with Inuka Foundation, attend and participate in as many environmental activities and environmental days or events as possible, establish partnerships and engage in talks to have CEAC's third year students take part in pre-attachment training.
