All students are invited to apply for the 2019-2020 Huawei ICT Competition Southern Africa.

Competition will commence with registration and a road show in October 2019, this will be followed by the National, Regional and finally the Global Final competitions.
There are two tracks in the competition: Network and Cloud.
Network encompasses WLAN, R&S and Security, while the Cloud track includes cloud computing, storage, big data and artificial intelligence.
The Preliminary stage is-individual based in October 2019. This comprises an online-test available on www.huaweiacad.com (it can also be done off-line) at Huawei ICT Academy classroom. The form of administering will be a 60 question test done in 90minutes, .
National/Regional final will be groups of 3 students who will take part in questions and a simulator or lab. A knowledge test will be carried out on e-learning ,available on www.huaweiacad.com, while the practice (simulator or lab) will be held at classroom of Huawei ICT Academy or Huawei center. The National final is scheduled in November 2019 while the Regional final is scheduled in February 2020.
The global final competition will be held in China, Huawei headquarters in May 2020.
