Correlation functions of certain types of quantum fields are solutions to integrable partial differential equations. This is useful in two ways: in evaluating correlation functions, and in describing solutions to integrable PDEs. Simple cases of this relation are known since a long time, but the understanding is still largely incomplete. This project is for learning about this relation and the techniques of integrable QFT involved, and exploring new avenues to further the understanding.
