Meteorology students recently  attended a field learning lesson at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The Department takes pride as the only centre of excellence recognized by the World Meteorological Organization to train Aviation Meteorologists.

Dr. Chrisropher Nyamai (Chairman, Department of Geology) and Ms Gladys Kianji (Lecturer, Department of Geology) being interviewed on KISS TV over appearance of strange cracks in the landscape of Gatuya village in Murang'a causing the entire village to be declared a NO-GO zone.
